The family and I are running in the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 25th to benefit the Nurses Organization of Veterans Affairs. (NOVA Foundation). We invite you to join in and participate by making your generous contribution. Thank you in advance.

You can track us at home on your pc via satelite with the ChronoTrack Timing System. It will record  our periodic results along the 2009 course. It’s a light-weight disposable tag we just tie into our shoe laces. The “D-tag” will record our official time at the start line and the finish, as well as split times every 5K along the course. Expect lots of time to enjoy the experience though, we’re running for the fun of it!

BETTER YET! Come to the race and cheer us on by following our progress via satellite with ChronoTrack. It’ll show you where we are on the course and you can meet us along the way at one or more of the bandstands etc. You’ll need our ”D-tag” number and it will be posted here as we near run day.

You can also get the split times and finish information instantly on your pager, text messaging number or e-mail. This free service is a great way to stay connected and meet-up for the celebration at the finish line. Nova Founadation has a really nice spread.
